Brought to life in 2012 with her mother, Kolor-N-Kiln is owned and operated by a Pittsburgh North Side native Alyson Blackburn. Dad even helps out from time-to-time along with an amazing staff of creative, friendly people! The goal of KNK is to provide a space where people can feel free to relax, connect, and have fun while painting artwork they can display in their homes or give as gifts.

We offer ceramic painting along with glassware, wood cutouts for painting and mosaics, and canvas . Our leadership and staff members are excited to meet each and every hidden artist who walks through the door.

Kolor-N-Kiln is a Black woman-owned establishment proud to be a space for individuals, groups, and families from ALL walks of life!

Kolor-N-Kiln is a “Paint-Your-Own Pottery” experience in The Mall at Robinson! We are a walk-in studio for solos and small groups (1-6 people).

Groups of 7-9 people (total): call up to 1hr ahead to check availability to reserve space/time. The earliest reservation time for large groups begins at 12pm with a cap of 6pm. The group number of 7-9 is the total, not just painters. Ex. If there are 5 children painting, then up to 4 adults can accompany them before we need to start discussing a private event at least 2 weeks in advance.

PAINTERS MUST BE PAID AND SEATED BEFORE 1.5 HOURS TO CLOSING.

Regular Hours Mon. - Sat. 11am-8pm (Cut-off is 6:30pm) / Sun. 11am-6pm (Cut-off is 4:30).
