Brought to life in 2012, Kolor-N-Kiln is owned and operated by two Pittsburgh natives, a mother/daughter duo. Dad even helps out from time-to-time! They wanted to make a space where people can feel free to relax, connect, and have fun while painting artwork they can display in their homes or give as gifts.

We don’t only offer ceramic painting, but also glassware, wood cutouts for painting and mosaics, and canvas . Our leadership and staff members are excited to meet each and every hidden artist who walks through the door.

Kolor-N-Kiln is a Black woman-owned establishment proud to be a space for individuals, groups, and families from ALL walks of life!

THURS. 4/25 CLOSED: Due to illness, we will need to be closed for today. Please keep our opener in your prayers. We will resume regular business on Friday, April 26th @ 11am-8pm. Firing is still on schedule, but due to closing our Thursday pickups won’t be accessible until tomorrow. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We stop accepting new painters 1.5 hours to closing. Painters must make selections and pay BEFORE cut-off times.

We are primarily a walk-in studio for solos and small groups.

Groups of 7-9 people: call 30min-1hr ahead so we can keep the larger tables clear for you! If you’re coming at opening time, give us a ring the day prior during open hours.

Groups of 10 or more are required to book a Private Event. Contact us no less than 2 weeks prior to your desired date to check availability.
